I hate seeing any food go to waste. In this family of 6 our food bill is probably the most expensive bill we have. Especially when I try to cook so much stuff from scratch.
Yesterday I decided that for my recipe post for #foodpornthursdays I was going to do Guacamole…I had purchased some very hard avocados at the grocery store a few days prior and to my surprise they were already past ripe and into rotten! If you ever need to ripen avocados quickly put them in a glass clay bowl of fruit. Needless to say mine had to be thrown away. **pouty unattractive face**

I enjoy this salsa with chips, on eggs, on burritos, and yes by the spoonful even. Although I highly recommend that you don’t eat it if you plan to have
a make-out session contact with anyone because it is POTENT and will probably ward off vampires or spouses any other type of monsters. Except the children…..they seemed to be immune to it.
- 1 Red Onion
- 5 or 6 Roma Tomatoes
- The juice of 2 or 3 limes (depending on how juicy they are) A trick to getting them juiced up is to roll them between your palm and the counter before cutting them.
- A good size bundle of Cilantro
- 4 cloves of garlic (more or less depending on who or what you are trying to ward off)
- 2 Jalapeños (I leave the seeds in cause I like it spicy…if you don’t like spicy then remove the seeds)
- Salt to taste
