Tortilla Roll-Ups

This recipe is so easy that it only takes 4 ingredients.  Yep you heard me 4.  You can make it 3 ingredients if there are people in your household that are weirdos strange and don’t like cilantro.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg (10 or 16 count) of flour “burrito” size tortillas
  • 2 pkgs of softened cream cheese.
  • 1 pkg of sliced ham sandwich meat
  • 1 bunch of Cilantro

cilantro

The kids and I planted a garden a couple weeks ago.  We have two boxes that my husband built.  One we planted with herbs and the other with tomatoes and various peppers.  **starts trailing off in thought**

Meanwhile, back to the recipe

Take a tortilla and spread a good layer of cream cheese onto the entire tortilla.  Don’t be stingy with it…forget the damn calories and just spreeeaaaad.

Add a couple slices of the ham down the center of the tortilla.

Sprinkle the cilantro down the middle.

Roll the tortilla up and then place finished ones on a plate in the fridge until the cream cheese has hardened again.

Take them out and slice them to make little bite side roll ups.

You can also use the spinach tortillas to add some color if serving them for a get together.

My kids love these!  And they are so easy to make.  No cooking and no mess.

Enjoy,

  1. Ooooooooooh!!!!! Cilantro is my favorite!!! I have a whole herb garden full of it!!! These sound delicious. I think I’ll make them this weekend. (I’d probably make this right now if I had tortillas!!) #foodpornthursdays

  2. I’m totally addicted to cilantro! And we all love wraps though we can’t have wheat or dairy! I can just taste these ones though – ham and cream cheese is amazing!

      1. I did totally make these yesterday, and although my husband and I thought they were yummy, neither of my girls want me to make them again. Still, I think this is good, simple fare, and just right for things to pack in The Mister’s lunch when there aren’t leftovers, or to have in the fridge for a quick snack. I really like them 🙂 Thanks again!

      2. Did you try making them with just the cream cheese and ham for your girls? My kids love Cilantro but I have found that not many kids do. Glad you and the hubby enjoyed them though. 🙂 Thanks for popping over and giving me an update. xx

      3. I did. I made four kinds — with just ham & cream cheese, then with ham, cilantro & yellow peppers, with just turkey & cream cheese, and then with turkey, cream cheese, red pepper & spinach. Don’t get me wrong, they ate them, but they didn’t like them like The Mister and I did.

  4. Wow that sounds delicious! And so easy! I had to google cilantro – I thought it might be some cool new herb I’ve never tried before then realised I know it as coriander. I love coriander or cilantro (sounds so much cooler!) I will definitely be making these! #foodpornthursdays

    1. I have heard it called coriander before as well. I love it on just about everything. I use it in the replace of lettuce sometimes because it is just so packed with flavor! Basil too. The basil in my garden is growing so fast! Thanks for popping over and saying hello and for liking up again with us at #foodpornthursdays.
