~Favorite Quote #12~

favorite quote quotes promises character peopleI am a firm believer in that if you say you are going to do something then follow through with it.  Don’t make excuse after excuse as to why it’s not getting done.  Don’t promise something that you can’t follow through on.  It makes for bad character.  I have met many of these types of people through  my lifetime and I will just never understand where their conscious is coming from or where it has gone.

  1. This is so true! I know in my younger days I was someone who went back on their promises because I did think they were that important. Since having kids I try very hard not to promise them things I know I can’t keep. I don’t want to hurt their little hearts. #candidcuddles

  2. I love it! I’ve experienced a lot of broken promises as a kid so I keep my promises to my own kids. I think it’s important to instill that in my kids that if you say you’re going to do something, then do it.

  3. Complete truth! One of my biggest pet peeves is when a person doesn’t follow through on his or her word or breaks a promise. It hurts, no matter how large or small the promise is. Plus, once that trust is broken, it’s so hard to get back. Thanks so much for linking up with #candidcuddles, Trista! xx

  4. This is so true Trista. People’s character lies in their actions, not their word. When people don’t follow through it’s impossible to trust them. Thanks so much for linking up with #candidcuddles x
