I am pretty sure that I got this recipe off of either Pinterest or Yummly at one time but have tweaked it to fit the Souzaville
tribe, clan family dynasty.
They take a little while to prepare, but are seriously so worth it.
There is a variety of things that you could incorporate, into the cream cheese mixture, that the jalapeños are stuffed with. I have used basil, cilantro, and with this particular time, bacon bits and parmesan cheese. I love experimenting or using up stuff in the fridge for recipes like this one.
*First I cut the jalapeños long ways and remove the seeds and part of the veins. If you like really spicy then by all means
get some toys for the bedroom leave those seeds and veins in there!
pound the sh*t out of flatten out the chicken with a meat tenderizer. Other uses for a meat tenderizer: clobbering whoever pisses you off, over the head with it. Just kidding. But really it’s quite the heavy duty brain smashing kitchen gadget.
*Next I prepare the cream cheese mixture. This time around I used these ingredients and do make sure the cream cheese is softened. Makes it easier to blend the ingredients together.
*Stuff the jalapeño halves with the cream cheese mixture. And yes by all means lick your fingers and the bowl when finished. If you have any stuffed peppers left over you can bake them too. Makes for a great little appetizer or side component for the plate.
*Then I place the stuffed jalapeños in the chicken…roll them up…wrap them in bacon…and stick toothpicks at each end to hold them together. Place them on a tin foiled pan for easier clean-up…cause believe me…they are going to make a mess when they cook. And just a little side note…if you soak the toothpicks in water they won’t burn as much in the oven.
*Last but not least smother them with your favorite BBQ sauce! Pop in a 375*F oven for about 30-40 minutes and then under the broiler for about 3-5 minutes to crisp up the bacon!
Then watch them disappear!
- 1 Package of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3-4 Jalapeños (depending on how many chicken bombs you are making it takes a half of jalapeño per bomb)
- 1 package of softened cream cheese
- 1 package of bacon bits (the real ones. not the salad topper dried out hard ones)
- 1/4 cup of Kraft Parmesan cheese
- 1 package of bacon (thin cut)
- 1 bottle of BBQ sauce. Your favorite kind.

Relationship to food…
Who in their right mind doesn’t have a love for food? Yes I realize that those who struggle with eating disorders may have a different view about food but thankfully I have never had any type of eating disorder. I do however have a long list of other disorders. But let’s stick to the subject at hand here shall we?
I love everything about food…except having to shop for it as I have written before.
I watch endless amounts of cooking shows to help improve my culinary skills. I even save some of them to my DVR to have reference to when needed. I have so many recipes pinned on my Pinterest that every time I try to look one up I spend more time scrolling to locate it then I actually do preparing it.
If I am hungry then I also get super cranky and become a
crazed lunatic angry human in 2.5 seconds if food does not quickly come in contact with my mouth. I am talking PMS related cranky with a side of psychotic behavior….more then my usual psychotic conduct. And if we go to a restaurant and there is too much of a wait I will insist that we get back in the car and drive to another location…which yes I realize is a catch 22 because sometimes it can take longer deciding where else we want to go and then traveling to said destination instead of just waiting at the first preference.
My favorite food to
inhale indulge, until I have to unbutton my pants, is Sushi. Here in Nevada we are a bit spoiled because most sushi places in the city are “all you can eat”. And I consume well over my “all you can shove in your mouth eat” price. Even talking about it right now my mouth is literally watering. **wipes drool off the keyboard** My Little B Man loves it too. I ate sushi during my entire pregnancy…yes I know they say you aren’t suppose to but what do you think the Japanese do? Stop eating sushi while pregnant? Heck no and look how smart they are. Little B Man is well above his age spectrum as well and literally will take a raw piece of salmon and shove it in his mouth just like his mama. I really don’t know if his being smart, and me eating sushi while pregnant, has any relation but I was simply stating he came out fine.
Now as for the loving food but not wanting to be fat is simple. It has nothing to do with looks but more with health. I have a long line of “weight related” illnesses in my gene pool and well I really don’t want to be another statistic. This is the main reason I have recently decided to make a change and start exercising. I really don’t eat much bad food. (wine doesn’t count) But I am falling short on being more active. This doesn’t mean that I constantly deprive myself from “goodies” but I believe everything should be within moderation….again wine doesn’t count.
For The Love Of Food,

I have a confession to make. I literally stumbled upon the world of blogging. I had never given it even a thought until one day someone mentioned that I should blog. I am sure it’s because they adored my sense of humor and witty antics that they felt it should be shared with the world. **pats self on head**
I had never read blogs…except for maybe the occasional ones that were posted in my Facebook feed. But other then that had never even subscribed to a single blog. Had really no idea that there was an entire blogging universe that was just waiting for me to discover it.
My blogging days started in October of 2014. I literally sat down one day…did a couple google searches about “starting a blog” and 5 minutes later I had a name and an account on WordPress. I even bought my domain name before I even published my first blog. I have been known to be impulsive. This also means that I had no clue as to what I was actually doing.
So there I was just tinkering away with my blog. Made quite a few blog posts, posted some photography, took a blogging 101 university class(which I learned a lot from), and was basically just doing everything by trial and error…with lots of errors. Then December rolled around and between getting ready for the holidays and my January/February “funk” I really didn’t do much with my blog. And the stats reminded me of that.
Then sometime in late February I decided it was time to rekindle my love affair with my blog.
Owing to the fact that I started my blog without a clue to what I was doing I did not make most of my social media accounts using Domesticated Momster. So last night I made an email account and a new twitter account using my blog name. I also made a new Pinterest and linked my blog Facebook page onto my home page. So if any of you have been following me on any of those social networks please follow my new ones.
Blogging is very time consuming. I am learning something new what seems like daily. Luckily I love to learn new stuff and thrive on making blogging fun and not a dreaded convention. The extraordinary people and charming blogs that I stumble upon along the way are delightedly just a bonus.
In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Third From the Top.”
Head to “Blogs I Follow” in the Reader. Scroll down to the third post in the list. Take the third sentence in the post, and work it into your own.
Ironically when I followed the instructions…the blog I landed on “SOMETIMES“…was also blogging about this challenge. The third sentence…”I hope he won’t mind”
I wonder if he will notice the few pounds I have shed and how hard I have been working to regain part of my “pre-baby” body. Does he see that I have been shedding my daily “SAHM” attire, which usually consists of a pair of sweats, with a half dozen holes in them and a shirt that still has spit up stains from nursing my babies so many moons ago? Instead, I have replaced them with the new pairs of jeans that he insisted I buy for myself and the new tops that I purchased on clearance because the price of the jeans almost gave me a stroke.
Has he noticed that I have been trying harder at keeping the house a bit more tidy and not letting the kids just string everything they own from one end of the house to the other? I too like a clean house…it calms my
OCD restless mind.
Is my cooking improving? Are all those hours spent watching the Food Network and skimming through Pinterest paying off? I bet he would notice if I made something with Mayonnaise. He hates that stuff. I keep threatening that I am going to rest his ashes in a bulk sized container of it.
Wonder if he notices that my hair is in an imperative state and a patch of new gray hair has appeared, I swear, overnight on the China Express. Or how about the toe nail polish on my feet that is so grown out it looks like a french manicure. And don’t let me even get started on my fingernails that do nothing but peel and chip since moving to the northern hemisphere of Nevada. All of this is so ironic since I spent 20+ years working in the beauty industry.
Will he notice another laugh line appearing due to the fact that I have been laughing a lot more lately? Or maybe because I am going to be another year older in a couple days. We all know that on our birthday we wake up with some sort of random justification that “old age” is setting in. **wink wink**
Has he noticed that I stopped playing “Farmville2”? Well not completely stopped but surely quit the slight obsession I had with it.
Occasionally all of these thoughts run through my head about my husband. I am a real person with real emotions and concerns about how I am perceived in the eyes of my other half. It’s what makes me a wife. His wife. It’s not a question of love, that I know…just a confirmation that I am doing right by him and that in a conversation amongst his friends he would be proud to call me “his wife“.
