Monday’s~ Music Mantra November 30,2015~

I have such a love ❤️ for music that I have decided to devote my Mondays to a list of some of what I have been playing on repeat for that week.  And poof!  Monday’s Music Mantra is born.

You can always tell what kind of mood I am in or what is going on in my head by what I am listening to.

Whether I am working out, cleaning the house, taking a bath, or just wanting to get in touch with my emotions…there’s always music to fulfill those moments.

music videos tunes

Adelle “Hello” I actually stumbled upon one morning while I was working out.  I listen to Pandora when I work out and so it plays songs randomly.  The first time I heard this song I was hooked.

Gwen Stefani “I Used To Love You” has been on my list for awhile now.  If you haven’t heard it then you must be living under a rock.  I also wrote a recent post about my thoughts on her recent divorce and cheating husband.

Hellyeah “Moth” This is a great song to run on the treadmill to.  It also makes me think of myself and how I sometimes let my mind be drawn into things that I know aren’t the real me thinking that way.

Five Finger Death Punch “Wrong Side Of Heaven” This song has been a favorite of mine for a long time but I had never watched the video.  It’s powerful.  Especially after such recent events of tragedy and what will never be laid to rest.  While we are all sitting around our holiday tables and enjoying the time with our loved ones…don’t forget those who have lost their lives and loved ones due to hatred, religion, politics, and greed.  And for the veterans who are still here and trying to live with the calamity of where they have been and what they have been through.

3 Doors Down “Let Me Be Myself”  I have been a fan of these guys for years.  I have listened to this particular song a lot lately just because I have been working hard at working on myself.

Happy Monday!

That’s A Wrap ~ Week 3

That's A Wrap Week 2

It’s been pretty quiet on the home front this week.  **knocks on large piece of wood**  The kids finally had a full week of school and none of that stuff I dare speak of.  If you are wondering what I am referring to, and missed week 2, please refer to it there. 😖

I have been in the kitchen a lot this week…well more then I am usually in the kitchen.  I managed to use up all the ripened vegetables from the garden making a big batch of spaghetti sauce, salsa, and some yummy pasta salad.

I am happy to report that soccer is coming to a close for my little monster M this weekend and for little monster B next weekend.  I am hoping to enjoy the break from the juggling of sports schedules for a minute before wrestling starts. That's A Wrap Week 3 weekly review blogging  Next year I will be juggling 3 different soccer schedules which my husband and I joked about just parking our camper in the parking lot at the sports complex and making a day of it.  Now I am thinking maybe we weren’t joking after all.

I realized today that I have seen these 5 little boys go from a group of scatter brained kids on the field to now working as a team and actually making it an enjoyable game to watch.  I hope that my son will have bonds with these kids throughout his life of growing up here in our small town.  I give kudos to all who make it possible for these sports to continue on.

My son had a his first little school performance this week and I wasn’t able to get any pictures.  Why you ask?  Well they invited all family members for each student.  This meant mothers, fathers, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and siblings…all in one tiny classroom…along with the 23 students and 1 teacher.  WITH NO AIR!That's A Wrap weekly review blogging  I about died!  Like seriously there was one point I thought I was going to pass out and hit the floor.  My son’s skit was first.  He was “Jack Be Nimble”.  Just as I was about to stand up and start taking video someone’s child, that they weren’t paying any attention to, crawled right onto my feet and I couldn’t stand up.  And I MISSED IT!That's A Wrap Week 3 weekly review blogging  To say I was upset is an understatement.  I then shot the mother of said child a look…she still wasn’t paying attention!  I didn’t want to pick the crawling toddler up for fear he may start screaming.  Not to mention I was holding my professional camera and there was nowhere to set it down.  So I got literally one picture of my son at the end before we left. 😁

He did such a great job though and I have come to the realization that my son is not shy what…so…ever.  I love to see how genuinely concerned him and his peers are about one another at this age.  So much innocence.  His teacher did a wonderful job of pulling it all together.  She has her hands full with 23 students in her class.

On the blogging front I wrote about my bad mommy moment and about how to get smart about your credit.  If you missed them please take a look.

I have a day filled with soccer and halloween decor today.  I can’t believe it’s the middle of the month already and I haven’t gotten out a single decoration.  Nor have I bought any to add to our collection.  Guess I will be hitting the clearance racks to find stuff to store away for next year.  If you would like to see our decor from last year click here.

Hope you all have a fantastic week!

Things That Piss Me Off – Part 2

Things That Piss Me Off Mad Anger Annoying

Another 25 things that really put me in a tizzy…you can see the first 25 here.

People at bars these days…did I act that stupid when I was young?

People In Bars Things That Piss Me Off

When my little monsters decide that they want to nap at 5 in the evening and then stay up half the night.

Anything relating to cleaning.  I usually just turn on an episode of “Hoarders” and then realize that my house looks just fine.

The Raiders football team along with The Chiefs and The Chargers.

My husband’s smoking.  Although he is in the process of quitting.

The 1st of the month at Wal-Mart.  Have you ever been to Wal-Mart on the 1st of the month?  I would highly suggest NOT doing it.

When I order food and they get it wrong.  I never complain about it either cause I am afraid they will take it back and spit in it….I do however leave a reflection of it in my tip.  I have also been known to leave notes on the backs of my receipts to let them know why their tip wasn’t more.  And if you are ever mad about an order from a fast food establishment…call the corporate office and complain!  They will send you coupons for FREE stuff!

When a TV show that I love either ends or gets canceled for no reason!  This is especially true when I watch a first season of something and LOVE it and then it never gets a second season.  And I am just left dangling about what happened.  So annoying!

Pissed Off My Show Was Cancelled

When the temperature gets over 100 degrees.  Anything over 100 is just plain hot, hot, hot!

When I am out of wine.  This is a shitty bad situation for all of those around me as well.

Recently my neighbors have made me mad asking that my husband and I keep it down in our own backyard.  And it was just the two of us!

Getting old.  My mind says I am 20 something but my body has a tendency to tell me otherwise.

When I spend precious time watching a horrible movie.  I feel like it is just such a waste of my time.

Bored Pissed Off

When I forget to take said movie back to Redox and end up paying way too much for it.  That really irritates me!

Toys!  Everywhere there are toys!  Because some days I am just too fucking preoccupied busy to constantly tell the kids to pick up their toys.

Stepping On A Lego Toys

Trying to think about “What’s for dinner” every single day!

Sticky floors.  Especially summertime when Watermelon is in season and popsicles.

When someone asks me the same question that I already answered a few times before.  My husband is notorious for this.

Liars.  I can’t stand people who lie.  Especially when the truth was so much easier to tell rather then a snowball of lies.

Solicitors.  I even have a “No Soliciting” sign on my front door and those beepity beep beep beepers still ring my doorbell.  Which then rally’s up the kids and my nerves!

PMS.  Probably the cause of this entire rant!

Whirlpool Corporation.  You can read all about that story here.  I am actually surprised it took me this long to mention them.

Every time that something in my house breaks.  I mean what happened to shit lasting?  Nothing is made right anymore.  Yes I realize I have a large family but seriously so were most of the families I knew growing up and they had shit that lasted for d-e-c-a-d-e-s!

When my kids keep getting up after I have put them to bed.  I have a great story about that here.  Make sure you watch the video narrated by Samuel L. Jackson.  It’s hilarious but make sure your kids aren’t in “ear” distance.  The F-bomb is said….A LOT!

Favorite Quote #5

I could quote this woman all day.  She was a brilliant and beautiful person.  Some say she died too young, I say she died when she wanted to.  I don’t think she was ever meant to be old.

As a mom, I sometimes find myself to be a little boring.  The once wild and care free me is now worried about anything causing my children to be motherless.  But it’s all part of my imperfections and my madness.

I am linking up this quote with the lovely Becky and Cuddle Fairy for her fabulous linky #candidcuddles.  Pop on over and link up with her if you get a chance.  She’s a hostess with the mostest.  She also has a wonderful linky guide for those of you who are wondering how you link to one…you can read it here.

The First World Problem Of Rural Internet

I sat down at the computer over an hour ago to work on my blog for the day, only to discover that everything is taking an eternity to load the internet.

I live in a very rural area and trying to get good internet is ranked right up there with trying to find a good crotch doctor.  Almost impossible.

For the insane amount of $60 a month I get nothing but pure frustration.  We have 7 people in this house, all of which have at least one electronic device.  We also like to enjoy the occasional Netflix or Amazon Prime but at the cost of having to shut down all other electronic devices just to get either of them not to buffer.  Nothing like the peaking moment of watching a movie or series when all of a sudden that dreadful buffering symbol appears.  It’s like an intermission…only no one has to use the bathroom or get something to drink.  We just sit.  Staring at the screen and waiting…wanting….for the DAMN SHOW TO COME BACK ON!!!  All the while throwing cuss words at the television like somehow it’s listening.

I have put in complaints to the internet company only for them to send a “professional” out to tell me that my house is located at the very end of the signal.  Oh really?  Well then what do the houses above me do for internet?  Because from what I understand this is the “best” internet service available here in my little town with regards to satellite internet which costs a fortune.  Therefore, I am pretty much screwed.  Seriously it’s 2015 and yet I feel like I am still living in the era of AOL dial up.

After unplugging and plugging back in several times and even resorting to putting any other device in the house on airplane mode, it was then time for me to leave to pick up my kids from preschool and out the window went any idea of me being able to work on my blog.  Needless to say this blog that should have only taken me a short amount of time has now pretty much taken me the entire day to get posted.
